Sima Hassani is a courageous 20-year-old Afghan girl born in the Jaghori district of Ghazni Province, Afghanistan. Despite numerous challenges faced by girls, she successfully completed 12 years of education in Afghanistan. Engaging in various social and educational activities during school, she collaborated with numerous organizations in the country.

Since 2020, Ms. Hassani has been dedicated to advocating internationally for the rights of Afghan women and children.

Following the Taliban's takeover of the Afghan government, Ms. Hassani was granted a fully-funded scholarship in 2022 from a prestigious Italian university, where she is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology. Simultaneously, due to security threats in Afghanistan, she was granted political asylum by the Italian government.

Sima Hassani has actively engaged with multiple organizations across Europe and Italy, advocating for the rights of women and children. She has provided assistance to numerous Afghan immigrants and has been a strong advocate for Afghan women.

She is president and founder at The Women’s Support Organization, which was established to aid women whose rights have been violated and those in need of financial, educational, and health support. This organization is committed to educating Afghan girls and advocating for their rights across different levels.
